Hammer Metalworks Ltd. was established in 1997 and has quickly found a niche in the metalwork industry, serving a wide range of clients requiring products used for air conditioning, ducting, plumbing and specialized applications.
These include:
- Ducting , exposed, both plain and lined
- Grille boxes
- Plenums - plain and lined.
- Fittings - round and oval, and
- Flashings
Hammer Metalworks is owned and operated by Les McGoram, an experienced tradesman of 31 years who served his time in sheetmetal at Fisher and Paykel Ltd, working eight years in the manufacture of sheetmetal products before gaining further experience in ducting and other products at metalwork shops in Auckland.
Les has established his East Tamaki workshop to manufacture ducting up to 2mm covering guillotining, circle cutting and folding for clients all over Auckland.
He believes quality is an important component of sheetmetal manufacture.
A Hammer sticker of quality is attached to each component to show each piece has been quality inspected before being despatched. Hammer Metalworks stand behind their work.
Hammer Metalworks has a policy that all jobs must be made to a tradesman's standard. It employs skilled tradesmen who concentrate on building quality into the products they manufacture. Installation and fitting is carried out by the client.
